Celebrating Benjamin Zephaniah @ The MAC : attendees feedback

A selection of attendees shared how they felt about the celebration, and how they commemorated and remembered Benjamin Zephaniah.

This event was an afternoon celebrating the power of poetry, music and art in tribute to the much-loved Birmingham poet, activist and actor, Benjamin Zephaniah. The special line-up of guest artists included Birmingham Poet Laureates, Casey Bailey and Jas Gardosi, Call Me Unique and many others.

Participants were also able to enjoy family-friendly activities in MAC’s public spaces. All ages were welcome for this celebration in MAC’s Outdoor Theatre.
